magazine_salesMoney raised helps fund field trips, purchase Bear Paw rewards, and assist with student and other classroom needs.  If you don't want to purchase a magazine, you can purchase other items like sports tumblers, a savings pass You can also make a donation.  Even though the magazine fundraiser has ended, you can order magazines/other items anytime during the year:

 

 

You can buy direct from your student or online.  Online Store.  Click on shop now. McKinley's ID # is 1426865. Be sure to include your student's first and last name so he/she can get credit for the sale. Thank you for support. 

We will be kicking off the magazine fundraiser on September 17.  Students will be able to earn prizes based on the number of magazines sold.  Below is general information about the magazine fundraiser.

 

Important Dates

September 17-19 – Magazine Fundraiser Kick-Off

September 25 – First Magazine Turn-in

October 2 – Second Magazine Turn-in

 

Volunteers Needed

We will need volunteers the mornings of September 25 and October 2 to help process magazine orders/count prizes.   No experience necessary.   We will also need help with the distribution of prizes on various dates after school.  Contact Jackie Mason at jmason@cr.k12.ia.us if you are able to help.

Can I Order Online?  Yes.   Go to McKinley’s online store at www.gaschoolstore.com.   Click on SHOP NOW.  McKinley’s ID # is 1426865.  Be sure to include your student’s first and last name so he/she can get credit for the sale. 

Can I Donate Cash?  Yes.   For those who do not want to purchase a magazine but still want to support McKinley, donations can be made to the school.   Students will receive credit for monetary donations. 

Tuition Credits.  Your child can receive college tuition credits to a number of private colleges in and out of state by participating in the Great American Fund Raiser.  The program is called Tuition Rewards.   

You Can Purchase More than Magazines.    There are several items you can purchase other than magazine subscriptions.   Over 1,500 products are available at www.gaschoolstore.com.   New items this year:  Double-wall insulated team tumblers and a Cedar Rapids area savings pass to some of your favorite merchants.
